Platform:
Cut Taxes: The federal government has become far too big and has too much power, and the most effective way to reduce this power is to cut taxes. Not only will cutting taxes reduce federal power, but it will allow people who earn their money to use it in ways that benefit society, like by supporting their local economies. People will have more money to spend and to invest.
Gun Rights: The 2nd Amendment clearly protects one’s right to bear arms and to own weapons. While we support more strict background checks on potential gun owners, we believe that every American has the right to own weapons so as to protect themselves and their families.
Pro-Life: Human life begins at the moment of conception. No matter what stage the child is in, all forms of abortion should be considered murder and should not be allowed unless the life of the mother is at stake, or if special circumstances arise.
Immigration: We are very supportive of legal immigration, but we have no tolerance for any illegal immigrants. Borders should be made more secure with more security and checkpoints. Illegal immigrants do not have the same rights as legal American citizens, and should be dealt with accordingly.
Terrorism: Terrorism is one of, if not the largest problem facing America today. Terrorists pose a threat not only to our nation’s livelihood, but to its overall well-being, as well. Recent terrorist attacks are bringing the nation into a state of fear, and we must end this problem as quickly as possible. Militant Islamic groups cannot be negotiated with, and thus we must take a strong, aggressive stance against these groups. This stance involves use of the U.S. military as well as the use of various bombing campaigns against these groups.
Health Care: A national, government funded health care system is not what is best for the economy. Like other forms of businesses, health care should be a part of a free market system, with various groups in competition with one another. A federal health care system puts unnecessary burdens on tax-payers, and the resulting health care is of poor quality, at best. Healthy competition will eventually create a solution to the problems involving unaffordable care present today.
Gay Marriage: As party we believe marriage should only be between a man and a women. Anything other than this we believe is wrong.
Energy: The United States needs to develop a renewable energy but needs to be done by private industry.
